BIOGRAPHY:

VANDALE has been the first hard rock band from the eighties, who sang in their native tongue. This led to a very unique status for this band from Sittard in the region of Limburg. Finally, people could sing their hearts out in the Dutch language to legendary songs, such as "Pet In Bed", "Geitenwollensokkenrockers", "Paddestoel" and "Stale Verhale", a couple of songs from their first two albums, called "Schandale" (1981) and "Stale Verhale" (1982).

VANDALE played themselves silly to promote these albums live and gained a large fan base in their years of existence. As a matter of fact, after their break up in 1985, many fans kept asking, that they would love to see the band back on stage.

Early 2015, guitarist Eddy Bopp and vocalist Bert van Klaveren enter Eddy's Cloud 9 Studio with new band members - guitarist Freek Bos, bassplayer Anton Masius and drummer Eddie Claessens - to record a brand new VANDALE album. VANDALE is back and stronger than ever!

Update 2020: VANDALE has been transformed into a rocking and steaming English rock band under the name MOONDAWGS. They have just released their first single and video, called "What's Going Down" and more music is coming up soon.
